Lucien Leduc ( fr. Biography
Leduc was born on December 30, 1918 in the city of Boulogne-sur-Mer in northern France. Leduc began his football career at the Boulogne Club. Lucien was the first French football player to make a name for himself as a midfielder , becoming popular. He became the champion of France in 1947 as part of the “ Excelsior Roubet ” and in 1949 as a player of the RFK Paris . For the French team, Leduc debuted on April 7, 1946 in a match against the Czechoslovak national team , ending with a French victory with a score of 3: 0.
Leduc's career began too late, he became famous at the age of 30, Lucien had to wait until the end of World War II , before he was the first footballer in the history of French football to cross the French border and go to Italy to play for Venice . Lucien also played for the French clubs Montpellier , Set , Clermont Foot , Red Star , Rube-Torkuen , Saint-Etienne and Annecy .
Leduc's coaching career began at the time of his performance for Annecy in 1951, he served as playing coach, and finally ended his career as a player Lucien in 1959.
