History

The Neryungri district arose in 1976 , after the formation in November 1975 of the industrial center of Neryungri. In 1977, the Tynda- Berkakit railway line was drawn to the village of Berkakit, 15 kilometers from the city. At that time, a network of state district power stations (Chulman State District Power Station, SBGRES, Neryungrinsk State District Power Station ) appeared in the district, which for a long time was the energy center of the entire Far East. The development of coal deposits and gold deposits has begun, which continues to this day and is the basis of the economy of the Neryunginsky district. In 1980-1990, a railway was laid to Neryungri itself and further to the Aldan region ( Tommot town).

In 2008, the Neryungrinsky municipal district was re-formed [3] . It included the city of Neryungri and the settlements subordinate to its administration, however, the OKATO code was not assigned, the OKTMO code 98660000.

Anthem of the Neryungrinsky district

Words and music by Evgeny Kryukov
Adopted in 2014

All roads lead to Neryungri district,
On the spurs of the Stanovoi Range.
Even to Chulman the hills came to bow,
To the shores of golden sand.
Everything in Yakutia is also native land
Saved for many years
The beauty of charoite, coal reserves,
And other riches of nature.

Chorus:
On the avenues lanterns burn brighter than the stars
This is the heart of the district, the native of Neryungri.
The friendship of our peoples is as strong as granite!
Neryungrinsky district kind angel keeps!

According to the covenants of the fathers, the halls of the new palaces,
We will build stadiums and schools.
Everything for the benefit of children, everything for young creators
Loved soul severe land.
Neryungrinsky district, we are proud of you -
Our faith, hope and strength!
Here is the fatherly shelter that has become our destiny
And Russia is proud of you!
