Game Rules
The game consists of unlimited circles rounds. There are five rounds in one round. The participant in each round on behalf of the viewer is asked five questions. Questions have no answer options, they need to be answered as quickly as possible, since only 4 minutes are allotted to all 5 rounds of one round. If the player does not know the answer, he can either say “pass”, and the answer to the question will be announced by the moderator, but will not be counted as incorrect, or ask for a “replacement question” (see below). In each round of a round, a player has the right to pass a limited number of times, which decreases with the number of the round (from four times in the first round to zero times in the last).
The amount earned by the participant for each round passed, is constantly increasing:
| Round / Number of questions | So many times you can “pass” in the round | Cost, rub.) |
|---|---|---|
| one | four | 1,000 |
| 2 | 3 | 2,500 |
| 3 | 2 | 5,000 |
| four | one | 15,000 |
| five | You can ask only "replacement question" | 50,000 |
If a participant manages to go through all five rounds of one round, he receives 50 thousand rubles, which are added to the “bank” and are a “non-combustible amount”. In addition, he can start the game in a new way (the next round of questions from five rounds with four minutes) and thus play indefinitely until he gives the wrong answer or changes his mind to play further, taking the money won for the whole game. The rules and winnings of all rounds rounds are the same. You can refuse to continue the game before starting any round (except the very first one at the beginning of the game).
If the player gives the wrong answer, the game stops, and the participant must share the money earned by him (all except those in the “bank”) with the viewer who sent the question in the “Hong Kong game”. If the participant made a mistake when answering the question of the very first round, the “Hong-game” is not conducted (since there is nothing to divide), the viewer is guaranteed to receive 500 rubles.
Substitution Questions
“Question-replacements” is a part of the game that can help the participant if he does not know the correct answer to the question. Often used mainly in the 5th round, where you cannot “pass”. Before the game, each participant chooses for himself the area of knowledge in which he feels like a real connoisseur (for example, “meat dishes”, “history of Russia in the 18th century”, etc.). A participant has the right to ask a replacement question three times for the entire game of one round of five rounds. With the beginning of a new circle of "questions-replacements" are restored. Usually, participants choose topics for themselves in which they are very well oriented, although many players have “cut off” just on these issues. The player has the right to “replace” the question again, if he has such an opportunity.
"Hong Kong game"
" Hong-game " has 3 options, one of which is absolutely safe for the player, as it does not contain a "gong" signal. In the other two "gong" will sound, but when exactly - is unknown.
The participant chooses the option of the game (not knowing which of them is without a gong), puts his hand on the button, pressing of which means the termination of the “gong-game”. A computer voice names the amounts in an arbitrary order, but gradually increasing within the sum of the round that the participant went through - “ten rubles”, “one hundred twenty rubles”, “eight hundred eighteen rubles”, etc.
Gong Game Results
“Hong Kong game” stops automatically upon the occurrence of any of the following events:
- If the player presses the button at any time. At the same time, the viewer gets the difference between the amount being played and the amount at which the game is stopped, and then the game goes "for fun": The presenter shows the player what would have happened if he had not pressed the button.
- If the computer called the amount played in the "gong-game." This means that the participant chose a win-win option and leaves the viewer without money.
- If the "gong" sounded. In this case, the viewer takes away the amount of money being played out, and the player leaves the game with nothing or with a fireproof amount in the “bank”.
Final Siren
There was a Final Siren in the game show , which marked one of two events:
- The expiration of the time, if 4 minutes allotted for any particular round of rounds have expired. In this case, the game for the player as in the case of an incorrect answer ends.
- The end of the program time. At the same time, this will not affect the position of the participant in any way - with the current result he will continue to play in the next game.
Records
- In the entire history of the show in Russia, two participants were able to earn a prize of more than 200 thousand rubles, having passed 4 laps of the game.
- The biggest win was Olga Kostenko from Vidnoe - 209,500 rubles.
