Execution and performers
The author was sharply critical of the performance of his compositions, distinguished by the complexity of the musical language and requiring virtuoso performance. In the early 1930s, he completely banned the publication and performance of his works. Since the mid-1970s, a strict ban has been lifted, and some works of Sorabji began to play in public. Among his performers are John Ogdon , Marc Andre Amlen , Jeffrey Douglas Madge and others.
