Rekinoa ( Spanish: Requínoa ) is a city in Chile . The administrative center of the eponymous commune . The population is 8240 people ( 2002 ). The city and commune is part of the province of Cachapoal and the Libertador-General-Bernardo-O'Higgins area .

The territory of the commune is 676.5 km². ^[1] The population is 27,968 inhabitants (2017). The population density is 41.35 people / km². ^[2]

Location

The city is located 15 km southwest of the administrative center of the area of the city of Rancagua .
