History
The road from Moscow to Pereslavl-Zalessky and Yaroslavl was formed in the XII century . Since the end of the XIV century, the Trinity-Sergius Monastery became an important center and the Trinity Road began to be called. Since the 15th century, royal travel palaces were built along the road in the villages of Alekseevsky , Rostokino, and others. Near the road were the estates of the princes Cherkassky , Khovansky , Pozharsky and others (see Sviblovo , Leonovo , Medvedkovo ). The road was highway in the late XVIII - early XIX centuries. At the beginning of the XIX century, the road was called the Yaroslavl highway and began from the Krestovsky outpost (currently - Riga Square ). In the 19th century, semi-handicraft factories, a textile factory, etc. were built in the Yaroslavl highway area, and dachas were built in Losinoostrovsky (later Babushkin ). In the 1930s in connection with the construction of VSHV Yaroslavl highway reconstructed. In 1957, the section from Riga Station to the District Railway was included in Mira Avenue. Currently, the Yaroslavl highway starts from the Severyaninsky overpass .
In 2012-2013, the Yaroslavl Highway was reconstructed, which included the construction of two understudies of the highway (on the odd side from the Severyaninsky overpass to the MKAD and on the even side from the Severyaninsky overpass to Rotherta Street ) and two overpasses (on Veshniye Vody Street and Malyginsky passage ). In the spring of 2017, the reverse lane on the Yaroslavl highway was replaced by a dividing barrier [1] .
Location
The Yaroslavl highway runs from the southwest to the northeast and forms the Yaroslavl district of the capital around itself. The highway is a continuation of Prospect Mira, starting from the Severyaninsky overpass . At the beginning of the highway - 6-lane, when approaching the Moscow Ring Road it becomes 8-lane. It ends as a Moscow street with a major 4-level interchange with the Moscow Ring Road. Then it passes to the Yaroslavl highway - the federal highway "M8 Kholmogory ".
At the Severyaninsky bridge is the platform Severyanin . Behind the Yaroslavskoye Shosse overpass, there is a separate flyover on the left for the Serebryakova exit exit (only when moving to the center of Moscow), as well as access roads to the platform and the railway junction. Then, on the right and parallel to the street, the understudy of the Yaroslavl highway (about 0.9 km) begins, reaching the Khibiny passage . Depart from the highway: Krasnaya Sosna Street (without crossing the highway), Khibiny passage (without crossing the highway), the exit onto the parallel Veshnykh Vody street (on the right, there is a left turn onto the highway under the overpass), Dudinka Street (on the left), Sergeant Street (on the left) then Fedoskinskaya street on the left and Prokhodchikov street on the right (without crossing the highway), Malyginsky passage (under the overpass), Yegor Abakumov street (on the left with the possibility to cross the highway), Kholmogorskaya street on the left and Rotherta street on the right (without crossing the highway). Thus, only on the street of Yegor Abakumov is there an adjustable intersection. You can also turn around on the Yaroslavl highway under the Severyaninsky overpass, both when moving towards Mira Avenue, and when moving from the center.
