Spreading the Disease ( Rus. Spreading the infection ) is Anthrax's second studio album, released in October 1985 via Megaforce Records , and the first with vocalist Joey Beladonna . The place of the bassist in the group was taken by the nephew of Benante Frank Bello. The album was well received by critics and is considered one of the best albums in the work of the group.

Album History
Spreading the Disease is Anthrax's latest album featuring songs from the band's former vocalist.
Neil Terbin.
The album included the single "Madhouse". The video for the song was shown on MTV , but was subsequently banned due to offensive content against the mentally ill.
After the album was finished, Scott Ian and Charlie Benante created the band Stormtroopers of Death , better known as SOD, and recorded the album Speak English or Die , one of the examples of cross-thrash thrash .
