Location
The municipality is located in the west of the city of Santiago .
The municipality borders:
- in the north - with the commune of the Lamp ;
- in the northeast, with the commune of Quilicure ;
- in the east - with the communes of Renca , Cerro Navia , Lo Prado , Estacion-Central ;
- in the south - with the commune of Maipu ;
- in the west - with the commune of Kurakavi .
