Location
The commune is located in the west of Santiago .
The commune borders:
- in the north - with the commune of Quinta Normal
- in the east - with the commune of Santiago
- in the south - with the communes of Pedro Aguirre Cerdo , Serrillos
- in the southwest - with the commune of San Bernardo
- in the west - with the commune of Pudauel
- in the north-west - with the commune of Lo Prado

Culture
