V8 Utes is a body racing series held as part of support for the sister V8 Supercars series .

Pickups use similar (with V8 Supercars) configurations for lower engines with a cast iron cylinder block. Unlike the main championship, the cars are completely identical (inside the same brand); each brand is represented by 16 cars.
The V8 Utes season consists of 8 stages taking place as part of V8 Supercars support. Each stage includes 3 short races, literally several laps (30-40 km), saturated with wrestling. The start of the second race is carried out in reverse order to increase the number of overtaking. The position at the start of the third race is determined by the total points scored in the first two races.
