Wacker ( Fußballclub Wacker Innsbruck ) is an Austrian football club from Innsbruck , state Tyrol , serving in the Austrian Bundesliga . Founded June 21, 2002. Home matches are held at the Tivoli Noi Stadium, which seats 17,400 spectators.

Title
Initially it was called “Wacker-Tirol”, because the club’s leadership tried to position it as the heir and successor to the traditions of the Innsbruck “Tirol” disbanded in 2002, but this status was not officially recognized by anyone, and therefore “Wacker” is considered to be a separate club that does not have no rights to the history and achievements of "Tyrol". On February 23, 2007, the club management decided to rename it, this decision entered into force on July 1 of the same year, it was from that day that the club acts under its current name.
History
In 2004, he entered the Bundesliga , and in the first season, he took the 6th place. In the next two seasons, he took the 9th, the last but one place twice in a row, stopping a step away from the departure. In the 2007/08 season, he took the last, 10th place and flew into the First League . In the 2008/09 season, he finished second in the First League Championship, and in the 2009/10 season he won a victory in it and returned to the Bundesliga. At this time, Wacker spent four seasons in the strongest league of Austrian football and, following the results of the championship, 2013/14 again went to the First League.
