The luggage room is a literary project of a group of Russian poets, existing in 1983 in various forms.
1) The literary group “Luggage Storage” was formed in Leningrad in 1983-1984 , its core was made up of Oleg Yuryev , Olga Martynova , Dmitry Zaks and Valery Shubinsky - representatives of the younger generation (all four authors were a little over 20 years old) of Leningrad uncensored poetry, oriented on the so-called “second” or “new modern”, which was initially perceived by many as the development of the Acmeistic tradition in its Mandelstam version:
Neo-Acmeism. But not in the Akhmatova izvoda. Paradoxically, Akhmatova’s “Storage Chamber” is very small - the influence of Nikolai Gumilev , especially the “last”, “dark” Gumilyov of the “Memory” and “Star horror” periods, is much more felt. A little distance away, but Kuzmin (late) and Zabolotsky (early) are significantly present. And of course, first of all - Mandelstam! [one]
In 1985 , the group was named after a collective samizdat collection of its four main participants. During the 1980s The participants in the Luggage Store occasionally performed joint readings at various semi-official literary sites in Leningrad. The general activity of the Storage Chamber, as a group, came to naught after the emigration of three of its members (except for Shubinsky) to Germany in 1990 .
2) The literary almanac “Luggage Storage” was published by the authors of the group in 1991-1997; St. Petersburg and Frankfurt am Main (where Dmitry Zaks lived) were indicated as the place of publication. Five issues were issued, numbered from the 2nd to the 6th (the first issue was considered a convolute (amalgamation of several books under a general binding) consisting of four author collections, which was published in 1989 in Moscow). Among the authors, whose poems and prose were published in the anthology, Sergei Wolf , Leonid Aronzon , Elena Schwartz , Asar Eppel , Svetlana Kekova , Natalia Gorbanevskaya and many others. etc. In the fifth edition of the almanac ( 1996 ), one can find one of the rare publications of texts by the legendary director, theorist of the theater and artist B.Yu. Ponizovsky - “... about postmodern skills ...”. Under the publishing label “Storage cells” in the 1990s. books of poems by Leonid Aronzon , Sergey Wolf , Oleg Grigoriev , Dmitry Zaks , Olga Martynova (two books), as well as Vladimir Gubin 's prose books Illarion and the Dwarf and Oleg Yuryev “Walks in the Hollow Moon” were published.
3) The literary site New Luggage, dedicated exclusively to modern Russian poetry, is a regularly updated electronic library containing mainly works by authors who collaborated with the Luggage Storage anthology, but expanding through attracting new, including young poets, close to the main circle of authors of the site on poetics. According to Oleg Yuriev, the site’s curator, “the site was conceived as a kind of“ virtual hard disk ”- an open archive combined with the ability to pre-publish and post new poems and articles about poems [2] . The permanent authors of the site are currently Mikhail Aizenberg , Olga Bazhenova , Vladimir Belyaev , Alexander Belyakov , Igor Bulatovsky , Igor Vishnevetsky , Natalya Gorbanevskaya , Alla Gorbunova , Dmitry Grigoriev , Mikhail Eremin , Dmitry Zaks , Olga Martynova , Alexey Porvin , Alexey Purin , Yevgeny Rakovich , Arie Rotman , Dmitry Strocev , Sergey Stratanovsky , Tatyana Chernysheva , Valery Shubinsky and Oleg Yuryev . A valuable addition to the library is a selection of literary-critical materials about the authors of the site. An essential part of the project is the sections devoted to the late poets: Leonid Aronzon , Lev Vasilyev , Sergei Wolf , Leonid Ioffe , Alexander Mironov and Elena Schwartz , as well as the Leningrad Chrestomathy (a small anthology of great Leningrad poems from renaming to renaming) and Unfair. justly forgotten poets.
At the site there are two online mini-editions with a mixed circle of authors - “NKH Almanac” for poems and “A certain number of conversations” for articles and an essay about poetry.
According to the materials of the site, two Temporary “New Camera of Storage” were issued (St. Petersburg, 2004 and M., 2007).
Since 2010, “New Storage Chamber” has been awarded (by a vote by permanent and non-permanent authors of the NKH) the prize “BUTTERFLY OF ARONZONA” for the poem of the year. “BUTTERFLY OF ARONZONA - 2010” marked by Olga Martynova’s poem “Death of a Poet”.
Since the end of 2011, the website “New Chamber of Storage” has opened the possibility of literary blogs for regular authors. The blogs of Igor Bulatovsky , Olga Martynova , Alexey Porvin , [http://www.newkamera.de/blogs/valery_shubinsky/ Valery Shubinsky and Oleg Yuriev .
