Geography
The village is located 10 km from the city of Dzerzhinsk .
History
According to the data for 1859, in the “List of Populated Places” of the Nizhny Novgorod Province it is listed as a treasury village on the Oka River of the Chernoretsky volost of the Balakhna district , 54 versts from the county town of Balakhna . There were 69 yards in the village and 310 people lived (135 men and 175 women). [five]
Culture
Near the village every year the All-Russian Interregional Festival of Historical Reconstruction "Bratina" is held [6] .
