Alessandro Della Seta ( Italian: Alessandro Della Seta ; June 19, 1879 , Rome - September 29, 1944 , Casteggio ) - Italian archaeologist and professor.

Alessandro Della Seta graduated from the University of Rome . Since 1905, he was an assistant archaeologist at the Roman and Greek Institute of Art. After 1909 , Della Seta was listed as a professor at the Roman and Greek Institute of Art. Since 1913 , Alessandro was also a teacher at the Institute of Genoa, and taught disciplines related to archeology. In 1927, he taught courses in Etrusology of Italica and Archeology at the University of Rome. From April 1, 1919 to January 31, 1939, he was the director of the Italian Institute of Archeology in Greece, which was called the "Italian Archaeological School in Athens", but after his departure the directors were Guido Libertini and Luciano Laurenzi , after which Alessandro returned to his post until 1 July 1944 Four months later, at the age of 65, Alessandro Della Seta passed away.
The writer Enrico Paolo Arias wrote a book entitled "Four Archaeologists of the Century: Paolo Orsi, Baggio Pake, Alessandro Della Seta, Ranuccio Bianchi Biandelli".
