Paka (classified as PAGASA - Rubing ) is a typhoon that passed to the area of the Marshall Islands , Guam and the Mariana Islands from November 28 to December 23, 1997 . Wind power reached 295 kilometers per hour. The damage caused by the hurricane was estimated at 580 million US dollars. There were no fatal cases.
