“Rosunda” ( Swede. Råsunda ) - a previously existing Swedish national football stadium in the municipality of Solna (part of Stockholm ), opened in 1937. In 2012, the "Rosund" was dismantled. Had a capacity of 35 000-36 608 spectators depending on the use. The stadium was home for the AIK football club, and every year until 2012 most of the home matches of the national football team were held here, the rest were played at Ullevi in Gothenburg . Since 2012, the national team of Sweden has played at the Friends Arena , which is just 800 meters from the place where the Rosunda Stadium used to be.

On April 1, 2006, the Swedish Football Union announced the construction of a new stadium in Solo, called the Friends Arena . Initially, Swedbank bought the rights to the name for 150 million crowns and wanted to name the Swedbank Arena stadium, but changed the name to the current March 25, 2012. Friends Arena was opened on October 27, 2012 , and the old one was demolished a year later.
