Biography
Alexander Bard was widely known as a member and songwriter of the band Army Of Lovers. In 1996, when the Army Of Lovers disappeared from the horizon and its participants began to forget, Bard creates a new project - Vacuum.
In the spring of 2004 in Sweden, the single “Living In A Fantasy” released a new at the time Alexander band - Bodies Without Organs. Currently, Bard is working with the Gravitonas group.
Bard studied in the USA and in Amsterdam, and from 1984 to 1989 - in the Stockholm School of Economics. Together with Jan Soderquist, a media theorist, he wrote five books:
- “Netocracy. New ruling elite and life after capitalism ".
- "New Global Empire".
- Kroppsmaskinerna or Machine Body.
- "Syntheism - the creation of God in the Internet era."
- "Digital libido - sex, power and violence in a networked society."
The first three books are combined under the title "Futurika Trilogy". "Netocracy" was translated into 16 languages and enjoyed great success in the world, the next two were translated into English in 2012. The authors introduce the concept of Netocracy as a new, virtual aristocracy, the main value for which will be information, not money. The whole Futurika Trilogy is dedicated to globalization and virtualization of society, predicting an Internet revolution.
All the work of Bard and Soderkvist concerns the era of digital technology, in which the authors are deploying a new metaphysical system and offering their own philosophical vision of the future society.
