History
Intergranular was formed in 1956 with the beginning of the development of a quarry and mining of copper ore by the Uchalinsky Mining and Processing Plant and was initially called the “XIX Party Congress” in honor of the 19th Congress of the CPSU, when the first quarry was opened here.
On May 25, 1963, according to the decision of the executive committee of the Chelyabinsk regional council of workers 'deputies, taking into account the wishes of the workers, the petitions of the Verkhneuralsky district executive committee and the Uchalinsky mining and processing plant, the village was separated from the Karagai village council , assigned to the category of workers' settlements , and it was given a new name - Mezozerny ( for the location of the village between three lakes: Chebachye, Karagayskoye and Rotten). Also, on the territory of the Mezozernoye, the "Mezhozernoye Village Council of Workers' Deputies" was formed, subordinate to the Verkhneuralsky District Council.
Today, the residents of the workers' settlement work mainly at the Molodezhny quarry, where copper-zinc ore is mined. A few years ago, the Uzelginsky underground mine was commissioned, here ore is mined even at a depth of 700 m.
After the appointment of I. Abdrakhmanov, General Director of the Uchalinsky GOK, I.A., much more serious attention was paid to the social policy of the UGOK at a key industrial site in the village of Mezhozerny. The priority area here today is the construction and commissioning of new five-story comfortable houses for working personnel and, above all, support for young workers.
