Osinovka (Bratsk)

Prior to the emergence of the settlement, a peasant dump, covered with aspen groves, was established at this place. Hence the current name of the village - Osinovka. Not far from the settlement there were fields and grasslands.

In the late 1950s , when building the Bratsk Hydroelectric Power Plant and filling the territory of the Zayarsk-2 settlement with the waters of the Bratsk reservoir, it was necessary to find a place to accommodate the settlement, railway station, logging site, depot workshops and other services and premises left from the former camp units of Angarlag and Management "Angarstroy." There were several proposals in different places of the city, but stopped at Osinovka.

In 1956, in the field, the Osinovka railway station was established, which is necessary for the builders of the Bratsk Hydroelectric Power Plant. Appeared a small village with a chopped houses. The railway line ran from the Right-Bank bus station in Angaro-Lenskaya mainline, built in 1955 .

From the transported residential houses, a whole detached residential area appeared in Osinovka - Zayarskiy. Most of the buildings in the village re-erected with all the amenities of concrete and brick.

In 1973, 12,4 thousand inhabitants lived in the village. ^[one]

In Osinovka, the Angarstroy administration and a number of its subdivisions are located: building and assembly trains (SMP), central motor depot (CAB) and others, by means of which all the housing stock and social facilities were built - schools, kindergartens, a culture center, the Lokomotiv stadium ", indoor pool and others.
