Legend: Legacy of the Dragons launched in September 2006; since then, the content of the game has been repeatedly updated and expanded. As of July 2012, there are more than 300 locations in the Legend, 12 group dungeons ( instances ), about 200 unique types of monsters, more than 20 sets of armor for player characters. Plot
The action of the "Legend" takes place in the magical world of Theo, devastated by a long war between Humans and the race of Magmars. The continuation of the conflict was fraught with the destruction of the fabric of reality and the invasion of the demons of Chaos, and to save Fae, the goddess Shear (the dragon-lord and successor of the ancient god of justice A'Aron) created two dragons that embodied the energy of the warring races - white, Erifarius, and red, Striagorn. At each new moon, when the forces of Chaos are strongest, dragons lead armies of hundreds of the best warriors of people and magmars and converge in battle. The victorious dragon takes the energy of the vanquished, and the forces of the two separated races join together to repel the onslaught of Chaos .
Game Features
Race
Magmars are creatures emerging from the bowels of a volcano. They have a black and red tint of skin, hot lava flows in their veins. They live on the mainland of Khair . They differ in physical strength and fortitude.
Humans are creatures with white skin color. They live on the mainland Ogry . Not aggressive and not warlike, but forced to take part in wars. The army of people is comparable in strength to the army of the magmars.
Dragons
Striagorn - created by the Dragon Lady Sheara from the energy of the Mammar race and personifies the power of these creatures. His appearance makes mortals awe; tongues of flame erupting from the mouth of Striagorn are capable of destroying all life around. The main purpose of his stay in the world, Theo Striagorn, considers the struggle with the servants of Chaos. He is infinitely loyal to Sheara and ready to give his life for saving the world of Faeo, but is not very concerned about the fate of his wards-magmars. To his eternal adversary, the white dragon Erifarius, he does not feel hatred, realizing the need for fights.
Erifarius - created by the Dragonlord Sheara from the energy of the human race and personifies their mind and nobility. The silver skin of the dragon shimmers in the sun and emits radiance. Erifarius has a calm and good-natured character, but at the same time he is a fearless and determined warrior. Erifarius considers Foeo to conquer the world from the servants of Chaos as his duty, calling and purpose of life. He is fond of elven poetry. Striagorn treats his great black adversary with indulgence, not detracting from his fighting qualities, but considering him to be a lower intellectual level. He has a sense of respect for people, they pay him the same.
Cities
There are two capitals in the game, which are the bases of the game races.
O`Delvays is a city of people located on the mainland of Ogre. It is located in the picturesque valley of the Zarat River, where the vast green spaces of which are flooded with bright light. Clear lines prevail in the city’s architecture, the buildings are mainly made of white and gray stone. On the central square of the city is a religious building that looks like a well. Tradition says that it is the source of people's magic. On Eternal Street, the Tower of Power is located, which is a tall spire with the flag of O`Delvays at the top. The inhabitants of the city appreciate the beautiful, but at the same time they are not without practicality. Everything in O`Delvays says that its inhabitants are not warlike, but are ready to fight back any invader.
Dartrong is the city of Magmar, located on the mainland of Khair at the foot of the Blood Monster volcano. A high impregnable wall made of black stone fences the city from the outside world, and a moat with red-hot lava protects it from enemy armies. The rays of the sun do not penetrate these places, heavy clouds cover Dartrong with a dark blanket. The vegetation in this city is represented by rare trees without a single leaflet with black, as if charred, trunks. Instead of birds - bats that rush around at night through the streets of Dartrong, making chilling sounds. An ominous tension and the smell of blood are in the air.
Battle system
The combat system "Legends" combines the simplicity of the interface with an abundance of techniques determined by the class, equipment and other characteristics of the character. The decisive role is played by the sequence of actions of the player. In almost all locations (with the exception of large cities belonging to one of the factions) a free attack on players of a different race is possible.

- A chaotic battle is a battle between characters of the same race, which will be automatically divided into two groups.
Great battle - any interracial PvP battle in which 10 players participate on each side.
Battlefields are interracial group instances for groups of nine, three, or two players.
Castle siege - large-scale battles between clans for the right to own the castle and the treasury. They are held once a week (on Sunday at XX: XX Moscow time).
Clan wars are seasonal fights. The head or governor of the clan submits an application for battle, after which the enemy is selected by the clan. Clan members who have agreed to the battle are moved to a special zone - 5 islands for which they have to fight. Before the battle, the voivode blindly, not seeing the enemy’s positions, places his troops. The squad that conquered 3 of the 5 islands wins. At the end of the clan war season, teams participating in battles receive rewards depending on their place in the overall ranking.
Battlefields of Interworld - were available for a month in March and April 2012. A unique gaming event allowed Russian, English, German and Polish players to fight each other twice a week. In the Interworld, ordinary objects, mounts, pets, temporary effects and artifacts did not work. The necessary equipment could be bought in a special store; when leaving Interworld, purchased items had to be left. The event "Interworld" became a precedent in the gaming industry: before that, no browser game brought together players of multilingual servers.
Professions
Mining :
- Geologist - mineral exploration, search, collection and study of various rocks, minerals , semiprecious and precious stones.

Estates

Tasks
Tasks help to get equipment and bring much more experience than the simple destruction of monsters. They are given by non-player characters ( NPCs ) in big cities and other locations. Reputation and Faction System
In "Legend" there is a developed system of reputations. With the exception of the reputation acquired in the Great Battles, reputations are associated with factions - groupings ( NPCs ), united by common goals and / or values (in exceptional cases, a fraction can be one NPC). To earn a reputation, you need to perform various actions (collecting items, destroying monsters, completing quests, etc.). The reputation is expressed in numerical terms and has six levels: Neutral (0-500), Recognition (500-1000), Friendship (1000— 2000), Respect (2000-3000), Honor (3000), Worship (3000; a special task is required). Depending on the level of reputation with each individual faction, the player gets the opportunity to acquire more and more powerful rewards for the character from her. Among the awards may be weapons, equipment, potions, pets, mounts.
The reputation system also allows the player to concentrate on the most interesting elements of the “Legend” for him, as well as carry out role-playing through the choice of fractions. Regardless of whether the character is Human or Magmar, he can join any faction or help her (exceptions are the Great Dragons and Mercenary Guilds specific to races). It is impossible to be in all factions at the same time: many factions are in a state of mortal hostility, caused by diametrically opposite values (Good - Evil, Life - Death) or historical reasons. The choice of a faction affects the skills available to the character, his appearance and the attitude of many NPCs outside this faction. To join a faction, a character must meet specific requirements (level, various additional conditions):
- The Conquerors of Evil are proponents of abstract Evil led by Isuver (the former great commander, Esfogen the Merciless, who abandoned his people and his name). Enmity with the Brotherhood of Virtue. Entry is possible from level 5.
- Brotherhood of Virtue - seeks to establish peace in Faeo and turn it into a kingdom of goodness and justice. Headed by Norak Dobrokhot. Feuds with the Conquerors of Evil. Entry is possible from level 5; additional conditions - the character has the profession of Healer (from 2) or Cracker (from 30), as well as a lack of reputation among the Conquerors of Evil.
- Relic seekers are Faeo world history researchers, archaeologists, and paleontologists. Collect bones of fossils and relics of extinct races. Entry is possible from level 3.
- Underground knights are guardians of crystal caves, making sure that the energy crystals mined there are not at the disposal of forces that threaten the world of Faeo. Entry is possible from level 3.
- Fighters against Chaos - a group that directly confronts the demons of Chaos attacking Faeo. Entry is possible from level 5; an additional condition is access to the island of Fay-Go.
- Undead hunters - confront the minions of King Magish, an ancient necromancer who made a deal with the god of the dead and the damned. Entry is possible from level 5; an additional condition is the fulfillment of the mission “Fighting the Undead”.
- Mercenaries - the “Stone Lotus” clans (for the People) and the “Red Axes” (for the Magmars). Once upon a time, they were a single community of monsters and criminals crouching in the night, which broke up due to internal contradictions. The Stone Lotus has a code of honor, the Red Axes do any work (but give participants the opportunity to refuse tasks). Entry is possible from level 4.
- Juggernauts - the order of hunters on the rarest and most dangerous creatures of Theo. Due to the nature of the work, the Legends almost disappeared by the time of the action. To restore their numbers, the Juggernauts began to accept into their ranks all comers. Entry is possible from level 2.
- The Flundins are an underwater race guarding the ancient prisoner of the chaos of Chaos, Raskriu Tsu, imprisoned, reminiscent of Cthulhu. They need help against the rebels who claim that the demigod is dead and attacking the guards of the prison. You can start helping the Floundins from level 6.

- Catchers of Fortune is a community of gambling masters. You can meet his representatives in taverns and play local versions of popular card games with them, as well as in the Tararikonov Fight. Winning (Divine glasses; playing for money in Faeo is prohibited) can be passed for reputation or put on the line again. You can communicate with the Catchers of Fortune from level 2.
- Goddess Aladea is the goddess of fertility, the patroness of plants and animals. He has a prophetic gift and true peacefulness, wishes good to all living things and strives for universal harmony. Resists the god of the dead and the damned. Characters worshiping Aladea receive her blessing after bringing gifts to the Altars of Life. You can start worshiping Aladea from level 7; an additional condition is the lack of reputation of the god of the dead and the damned.
- The god of the dead and the damned is a nameless ancient god, rejected and despised by other celestials. He seeks to enslave the souls of mortals and establish the kingdom of darkness in Faeo for five thousand years. Feuds with the goddess Aladea. - Spirit charmers are representatives of the ancient families of Humans and Magmars, capable of taming spirits and communicating with the souls of the dead. - Pet patrons are young ladies taming and rearing young monsters. Those who collect vital substance from slain monsters or catch cubs for Pet Protectors learn to make their own pets more and more powerful fighters. You can start working at Pet Patrons from level 11.
- Shadow Catchers are representatives of the most ancient race of the Chosen, after the creation of Faeo remaining to watch the world. To protect Faeo from the giants of Chaos, they need special matter collected by characters from the spirits of the ghostly world. You can start helping Shadow Catchers from level 11; an additional condition is to complete the “Meet the Shadow Catchers” quest.
