Track record
- 1806 - entered as a volunteer in the Black Sea Fleet .
- 1816 - after graduating from the Nikolaev navigational school, he was promoted to midshipman and released into the 41st naval crew.
- 1828 - 1829 - participated in the Russian-Turkish war , distinguished himself in the bombing and capture of the fortress of Varna , for which he was awarded the Order of St. Anna of the III degree. On the ship "John Chrysostom" participated in the battle of Penderaclia and the burning of the Turkish ship, for which he was awarded the Order of St. Vladimir IV degree with a bow.
On March 2, 1830, he was promoted to major with admission to the 9th flipper crew and was appointed assistant captain of the Odessa port. June 25, 1831 transferred to the rank of captain-lieutenant.
- Since September 1837 - commander of the corvette " Messemvria " [1] .
- 1839 - dismissed from military service for health reasons with the rank of lieutenant .
December 6, 1843 promoted to captain of the 1st rank. In 1847 he was awarded the Order of St. Anne of the II degree.
- 1851 - was appointed director of the Sevastopol Maritime Library with reinstatement in active military service, on December 6 of the same year he was promoted to major general . He set this library to a high degree of perfection; Before the siege of Sevastopol, he moved it to the city of Nikolaev. Here he lived until his death on March 23, 1866 [2] . January 4, 1860 promoted to the rank of lieutenant general with dismissal.
