Giovanni Giacomo Panchiroli was born in Rome in 1587 (exact date unknown). His father was a tailor . His first name is also listed as Gianjacopo, and his last name is as Pantsiroli and Panchirole.
He was educated at the Archigymnasium of Rome, received his doctorate in utroque iure , and in canonical and civil law , in 1605 .
