History
In 1894, the Polotsk Spaso-Efrosinievsky Convent of the Polotsk diocese , who wanted to build its own farmstead in the capital, received a plot for it on the Peterhof road , which was bought with money from the Vologda peasants.
The clergy for a long time refused permission to build the church, and only on November 15, 1911 a wooden chapel was laid as a courtyard, funds for which were given by the honorary citizen O. M. Mikhailova. Chopped logs, a cross-shaped chapel crowned with two tents, were consecrated in the name of St. Euphrosyne of Polotsk in the first half of next year. She held a responsible position at the break of the Peterhof road, the turn to Tsarskoye Selo and the Moscow road and served as the local urban development dominant.
On August 29, 1918, it was allowed to attach an altar to the chapel and serve a liturgy in it. The community and the church existed until 1935 . In the late 1930s , all the courtyard buildings were demolished.
