Career
Club
Known for playing for the football club Milan , of which he is a pupil. Initially, he played in the position of the left extreme defender, but with the advent of the team, Paolo Maldini moved to the midfield. For 13 years, as part of Milan, he has won many national and international titles. A goal scored by Evani in extra time brought Milan a victory in the 1989 Intercontinental Cup match, and Evani was recognized as the best player in the match. In 1993 he moved from Milan to Sampdoria , where he played for four years. He completed his career as a player in Reggiana (Series B) and Carrarese (Series C1) clubs.
In total, he played in Serie A in 353 matches, scoring 16 goals.
International
In the Italian national team, Evani made his debut only in 1991, at the age of 28. For three years, he played in 15 matches, and the culmination of performances in the national team was 2nd place at the 1994 World Cup . In the final match against Brazil , Evani scored one of the penalty shootouts, but in the end the Brazilians won 3: 2.
Coaching
Currently, the coach of the youth team “Milan”, which in 2007 became the champion in the junior championship of Italy.
