“ CSI: The Miami Crime Scene ” is a spin-off of the television series “ CSI: Crime Scene ” ( eng. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation ). The pilot episode for the series was the episode " Joint Investigation " shown on May 9, 2002. The series was broadcast on September 23, 2002 on CBS . On April 8, 2012, the last episode was broadcast. In 2004, the spin-off of the television series CSI: Crime Scene New York was launched. In 2006, according to a survey conducted by Informa Telecoms & Media, “CSI: Miami Crime Scene” was named “The most popular TV show in the world” [1] . In total, 10 seasons consisting of 232 episodes were released as part of the television series.
Content
Synopsis
A team of criminologists in the city of Miami, under the leadership of former sapper Horatio Kane ( David Caruso ), uncovers crimes in the resort metropolis.
The filming of the television series took place mainly in California . Indoor scenes were filmed at Raleigh Manhattan Studios in Manhattan Beach, California . Most of the scenes were filmed on Long Beach , Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach .
