History
The station was opened on September 29, 1978 as part of the VDNKh - Medvedkovo section, after commissioning of which there were 107 stations in the Moscow Metro.
Name Origin
The name is for the Moscow historical district of the same name. In turn, the Sviblovo district got its name from the former village, known since the XIV century as the possession of the governor F. A. Sviblo , an associate of Dmitry Donskoy . The surname of the voivode came from the old Russian word “twisty” - “lisping, tongue-tied” [1] .
Lobby
There are no ground lobbies, the entrance to the station is through underground passages that have exits to Snezhnaya street , Amundsen street and Rusanova passage . Two underground vestibules are connected to the station by stairs.
Architecture and Design
The station was built from prefabricated structures according to the project of the architect R.I. Pogrebny (design engineer: L. B. Sachkova).
The walls are faced with white and gray veined marble " Koelga ", the floor is lined with black and gray granite . The ceiling is supported by two rows of 26 columns of light marble; the latter are decorated with decorative vertical inserts of golden anodized aluminum . The step of the columns is 6.5 meters.
On the north side there is a smalt panel “The Legend of Igor's Campaign”, and on the south side - “Girls in folk clothes”. Both panels are placed above the stairs.
In the upper part of the walls there is a frieze with 48 mosaic images (24 on each of the walls) dedicated to the cities of Russia. Half of the mosaics are coats of arms, the other are square panels (author - Yu. K. Korolev ). Coats of arms and panels alternate with each other. Each of the mosaics is signed in cast letters, stylized as Old Slavonic script. Despite the decommunization of Russian toponymy carried out in 1990-1991, the name Zagorsk (Sergiev Posad) remained untouched.

Track Development
Behind the station, in the direction of Medvedkovo, there are non-standard connecting branches from the Sviblovo depot : on the 1st path there are consecutively woolly and woolly ramps, on the 2nd path there is a woolly ramp, an anti-wool branch to the depot, a woolly branch to the depot (it also contains a short dead end) and anti-wool congress [2] .
Also on the stage there are 2 exit chambers, which are a reserve for fork traffic to the canceled Losinoostrovskaya station. This idea was abandoned due to the congestion of the Kaluga-Riga line.
