House Nauru
Nauru House (officially named Collins Street 80 [1] ) is a 52-story building in Melbourne , Australia .
Upon completion, it became the tallest building in the city, until in 1980 this record was broken. The building was constructed from 1972 to 1977 and became part of the investment program of the Nauru government. The building is octagonal and currently has an aluminum facade . The total area of 50.5 thousand m² . The height without a tower on the roof is 183 m , with it 190 m.
The economic crisis forced the Nauru government to sell its overseas property, and now the Nauru House is owned by the Queensland Investment Corporation.
