Kampong Thom ( Khmer. ខេត្តកំពង់ធំ - kʰɐet kɑmpʊəŋ tʰom ) is the second largest province ( khet ) in the central part of Cambodia - 13 814 km² , population - 630 803 people. ( 2008 ) [1] . The administrative center is Kampong Thom .

History
In the province there are pre- Angkor monuments Sambir Prey Kuk and Prasat Andet , as well as other monuments of the Angkor period.
