About the album
Somewhere Back in Time: The Best of 1980β1989 was released in 2008 on the eve of the Somewhere Back In Time World Tour to allow new fans to preliminarily become familiar with the material that will be performed at the concerts.
The album cover includes Eddie in the image of the pharaoh (image from the Powerslave album) and cyborg Eddie (from the cover of the album Somewhere in Time ). In addition, the Iron Maiden logo is blue with gold edges - the same colors were used on the cover of the Seventh Son of a Seventh Son .
