In the series, until the 6th season, no information is given about the Cuddy family, except for the mention that she has a sister and mother, and her father died. Caddy's great-grandfather was a famous doctor and wrote a book that is a bibliographical value [2] . Cuddy had an affair with the military [3] . Later, when House had a heart attack of the muscles of his right leg , Cuddy was his attending physician. Despite the danger, House refused to amputate his legs, explaining that “he likes the leg.” House's friend Stacy Warner believed that it was necessary to amputate a leg in order to save a life. Then Cuddy proposed a compromise between amputation of the leg and its preservation - the removal of dead muscles. In the event of failure, House had to remain crippled and suffer pain until the end of his life, if successful, his muscles would grow again and he could walk. Unable to withstand the growing pains, House asked to introduce him to the drug whom . After that, Stacy, as his medical attorney, decided for him to conduct a compromise operation. Cuddy hired House as head of the hospital’s diagnostic department. When in the first season, Edward Vogler, the new chairman of the board, raised the question of dismissing House, Cuddy interfered with this, which caused Vogler to leave and lose a hundred million dollars in sponsorship money [6] . Caddy perjured [7] in favor of House, saving him from prison.
For 2-3 seasons I tried unsuccessfully to have a baby [8] . House agrees to give Cuddy twice a day the injections necessary for artificial insemination , and to keep this a secret. During the third season, she confesses to her best friend Wilson ( Robert Sean Leonard ) that there were three inseminations, one of which ended in a miscarriage . After unsuccessful attempts, IVF adopts the child of the dying patient [9] .
After House drove into her house by car, she left the hospital of her own accord.
Personal life
Most clearly, the personal life of Dr. Lisa Cuddy is shown in 3-7 seasons. We are shown not only her dates with men, but also the “working flirt” with Gregory House. He openly comments on her underwear , the manner of dressing and some parts of the body. This annoys Lisa, but at the same time these veiled compliments are pleasing to her. House constantly intervenes in her personal life. He breaks her dates, comes at night to ask permission for insane tests, and also makes various bets with her for money or on duty at the clinic.
In season five, House openly expresses her sympathy for her. In the 92nd series of "Joy" ( eng. Joy ) House kisses Cuddy. But she does not want to continue the relationship. At the end of season five, House, suffering from constant hallucinations , seems to have spent the night with Cuddy. Considering that it is true, standing on the balcony, openly declares that "He slept with Lisa Cuddy!", And then, in response to her cries, offers to move in. This infuriates Lisa, and she fires House. A few minutes later, Greg finds her crying in his office. They start a conversation, as a result of which House realizes that sex with Cuddy was just another hallucination. In the last episode of Season 6, Cuddy finally confesses her love for House and refuses a wedding with Lucas. House and Cuddy start a relationship. And this time, this is not a hallucination, since he refused Vicodin for the sake of Lisa Cuddy. House declares her love in episode 1 of season 7. In subsequent episodes, they inform their surrounding people and, as required by the contract, the personnel department of the hospital. In episode 15 of season 7, he breaks up with House because he realizes that he will never be a support for her.
In episode 8 of season 7, it turns out that Cuddy was married for 6 days in 1987, and that she was not 45 years old, but 43, she had lied to the personnel department.
In the latest episode of Season 7, House crashes into Cuddy's house by car. After this incident, Cuddy resigns as head of the Princeton-Plainsboro Hospital, and Eric Forman takes her place.
