Novorossiysk TV Tower - Radio and television broadcasting station, located in Novorossiysk . The construction of the 1st RTPS launch complex was completed in 1996. It is used for broadcasting digital and analog television and radio broadcasting. It is part of the branch of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “ Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Network ” “Krasnodar Regional Radio and Television Broadcasting Center”.

60th tallest in the world and 4th tallest in Russia (after Ostankino - 540 m, St. Petersburg - 326 m and Perm - 275 m), a television tower 261.45 m high was built on the pass of the Main Caucasus Range “Wolf Gate” "At an altitude of 373.5 meters above sea level. It is a free-standing reinforced concrete tower that provides radio visibility of more than 100 km (the height of the suspension of antenna systems above the level of the flat territory of the region is more than 600 meters). The weight of the reinforced concrete part of the tower barrel is over 12,000 tons, the antenna part - 300 tons. The nineteen-story trunk contains all the technological equipment. In the central control room and control of the technological complex around the clock is operational personnel. At the bottom of the tower are the life support services of this facility.
Along with ensuring the reception of broadcasting programs by the population (in the reliable reception zone are the cities of Novorossiysk, Gelendzhik , Anapa , Temryuk , Krymsk , Abinsk , Slavyansk-on-Kuban and the corresponding areas with a population of more than 1 million people), the Novolossiysk RTPS is the most important telecommunications center for mobile communications, process control, safety of navigation, oil and gas transportation, etc.
The RTPS of Novorossiysk is an object built using unique technologies for constructing a free-standing reinforced concrete barrel tower: the project exists in a single copy, like all TV towers in the former USSR [1] .
