In order to record the songs of Vladimir Shakhrin, the writer Andrei Matveev introduced Vladimir to the guitarist of the Sverdlovsk rock band " Track " Mikhail Perov. In May 1985, Matveyev’s home was learned and recorded in the Sony portable studio owned by Ilya Kormiltsev in three hours , the first part - the acoustic album Wave of Simplicity . The second part - the recording, called "Bad Dreams" , was made in June at the apartment of Vladimir Shakhrin and also performed in acoustics. Recording was conducted on a Sharp tape recorder - three microphones tied to the backs of chairs were connected to the Karat console . Shakhrin and Begunov were sitting on the couch, and Oleg Reshetnikov, who was playing the xylophone , in order not to interfere with his neighbors, was sitting in a tent made of a carpet. These two albums made up the “double” “Life in Pink Smoke” in the summer of 1985.

The group does not plan to release the album on a CD, many songs were re-recorded later for the acoustic series “Orange Mood” .
