The company was founded in May 1994 by Marcin Iwinski ( Polish. Marcin Iwiński ) and Michal Kichinsky ( Polish. Michał Kiciński ). Initially, she was engaged in the publication and distribution of programs in Poland . CD Projekt Sp. z oo (later cdp.pl) became the first Polish publisher of CD programs, and for a long time was the only Polish company specializing in publishing video games and educational programs. In November 2014, the company became independent from CD Projekt [1] .
