Biography
Born in early 1921 (officially March 8, 1920 ) [1] in the village of Kordyshevka (now Vinnitsa District , Vinnitsa Region , Ukraine ) into a middle-peasant family. Mother - Marina Gordeevna (maiden name Dubova,? - 1928), father - Fotiy Isikhievich Stadnyuk.
He studied at elementary school. In 1932, fleeing hunger, he went to Chernigov to brother Jacob, a party worker. He lived and studied with his brother and sister Afia near Chernigov. He collaborated with the editorial board of the newspaper "Stalin's Way" in Tupichev. In 1939 he entered the Ukrainian Institute of Journalism, but in the same year he was drafted into the army. In 1941 he graduated from the Smolensk Military-Political School . It was published since 1940. The first literary publications - in the Smolensk regional newspaper "Work Path". During the Great Patriotic War

In the battles in Western Belarus, being surrounded, organized 36 Red Army soldiers and acted with them as a partisan detachment. In clashes with the Nazis, the group destroyed up to hundreds of fascists, burned 8 cars with various German cargo. Comrade Stadnyuk personally brought out from under the fire of the wounded captain Comrade Kilyashkina from the 209th mechanized infantry division and this saved his life. He removed the entire group from the encirclement and handed it over to the assembly point in the city of Mogilev at the end of July 1941 [2] .
