Medal "For diligence" (Ministry of Justice of Russia)

The medal "For diligence" consists of two degrees:

• medal "For diligence" I degree;
• medal "For diligence" II degree.

The highest degree is I degree. Awarding is made sequentially: II degree, I degree.

The medal “For diligence” is awarded for:

• skillful organization of the work of bodies, institutions and organizations of the system of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation;
• achievement of high indicators in official, operational, industrial, economic and pedagogical activities;
• success in improving professional and pedagogical skills;
• personal contribution to training for bodies of justice and the penitentiary system.

According to the Regulation, the medal “For diligence” of the I degree is awarded to:

• employees of bodies, institutions and organizations of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation with 10 years or more service experience in the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation;
• employees of the penitentiary system of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation with 10 years or more service experience in the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation ;
• persons who have transferred from other federal executive bodies of authority and other bodies to the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation and have seniority in public service (work), military service and service in federal executive bodies and other bodies where special ranks are granted for 10 years or more;
• other employees of federal government bodies, citizens of the Russian Federation and foreign citizens.

Medal "For diligence" II degree awarded:

• employees of bodies, institutions and organizations of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation with 5 years or more service experience in the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation;
• employees of the penitentiary system of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation who have been with the service (work) for 5 years or more in the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation;
• persons transferred from other federal executive bodies of authority and other bodies to the system of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation and having seniority in public service (work), military service and service in federal executive bodies and other bodies where special ranks are provided for, 5 or more years ;
• other employees of federal government bodies, citizens of the Russian Federation and foreign citizens.

In exceptional cases, by decision of the Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation, the Medal “For diligence” of the 1st degree is awarded to employees of bodies, institutions and organizations of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, employees of the penal system of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation and persons who have transferred from other federal executive bodies and other bodies to the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation and having seniority in public service (work), military service and service in federal executive bodies other bodies, which provides for the assignment of special ranks, at least 10 years, the medal "For diligence» II degree - at least 5 years.

Repeated rewarding with the medal "For diligence" is not made.

The “For zeal” medal is worn on the left side of the chest and is located after the “For Valor” medal in order of seniority of degrees: I, II.

The medal "For diligence" has the shape of a regular circle with a diameter of 32 mm, bordered on both sides by a solid laurel wreath interlaced at the top with a ribbon. On the front side of the coin, in the center, is placed an equilateral cross with expanding ends, on which ruby ​​silicate enamel is applied. A round medallion is placed on the central part of the cross. In the center of the medallion is the figure of a two-headed eagle with wings raised up, crowned with one large and two small crowns. In the right paw the eagle holds a sword , in the left - a lictor bunch . The crowns are connected by tape. On the chest of the eagle is a figured shield , in the field of which the “ pillar of the Law ” is placed. On the back of the coin, in the center, the inscription "For zeal". At the bottom is a serial number.

The 1st degree medal is made of gilded tombac , the 2nd degree medal is made of silver plated tombac , in which there is a laurel wreath on both sides of the medal, a cross with a medallion overlaid on it, the inscription "For diligence" is gilded. All images and inscriptions on the medal are convex.

The medal is connected with an eye and a ring to a pentagonal block covered with a red silk moire ribbon 24 mm wide with blue stripes at the edges of the ribbon 1.5 mm wide each, 1 mm apart from the edge of the ribbon. In the middle of the tape are yellow strips with a width of 3 mm: for a medal of the I degree - one strip, for the II degree - two stripes. The yellow stripes are separated by red stripes 3 mm wide. The medal block is attached to the clothes with a pin.
