Anatoly Nikolayevich Vaneev (born January 30, 1925 , Vyatka , Vyatka province , USSR ) - Soviet and Russian librarian , doctor of pedagogical sciences ( 1982 ), professor ( 1983 ). Full member of the International Academy of Informatization ( 1993 ).

Biography
Anatoly Nikolaevich Vaneev was born in Vyatka in 1925 .
In 1951 he graduated in absentia from the V. M. Molotov Moscow Library Institute .
Member of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. - He was drafted into the army in January 1943 , the same year he was wounded in battles near Smolensk , and after the hospital he returned to the front again. He participated in the liberation of Belarus , Lithuania , Koenigsberg . Has combat awards. [one]
He began his career at the Kirov Regional Library in 1946 , where he worked until 1962 . Since 1962 he has been working at the N.K. Krupskaya Leningrad State Institute of Culture (now it is the St. Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts ). In 1966 he defended his thesis. In 1974 - 1995 - Head of the Department of Library Studies of the Leningrad State Institute of Culture named after Krupskaya .
