The ruins of the village are located near the forest road connecting the villages of Pijtsiyoki and Kolatselga . It is about 13 km from the village of Kolatselga . From the village of Piitsiyoki - about 32 km. The name comes from the Sona River, flowing 1.5 km from the village. 9 km south of the village are the so-called Kolatselg adits .
