Geography
The province is located in the east of the Valparaiso region.
The province borders:
- in the east - San Juan and Mendoza ( Argentina )
- in the northwest - the province of San Felipe de Aconcagua
- in the southwest - Chacabuco province
- in the south - the province of Cordillera
