Company History
IAUDIO players use unique music playback technologies created by COWON in collaboration with their partner BBE Sound Inc. - A recognized company in the field of sound processing.
COWON was founded in 1995 in South Korea. The company's first products were Jet-Audio sound processing and playback software, which later won prestigious awards from CNET, ZDNet, TUCOWS. The first major customers of its products were such well-known IT companies as Fujitsu and NEC , which in 1999-2000. bundled their PCs with Jet-Audio software.
In 2000, the first iAUDIO CW100 compact MP3 player was released, weighing just 40 g.
In 2003, COWON became one of the 50 fastest growing companies in the field of high technology and was awarded as the best company in Korea in the nomination “Product Quality”.

Headphones
There are three headphone models in the company's catalog that go well with Cowon products. The COWON Auto Capsule AC1 DVR was the first to enter the market in 2012, shooting in 720p HD resolution. jetAudio
jetAudio is a multimedia player. It plays most of the currently existing audio data formats , and also has the functions of encoding CD to MP3 and encoding audio and video to the formats played by Cowon portable devices.
