For the first time, the famous song “Cheek to cheek”, which became one of the symbols of the interwar American cinema, sounded in the film. An episode with this song has been cited repeatedly in later films, including Cairo 's Purple Rose ( 1985 ) and The Green Mile ( 1999 ).
The name of the film was given according to one of the main dance numbers of Fred Astaire in the film [1] .
