Clifford Stein is a professor , an American specialist in computer science . He currently teaches at Columbia University ( New York ), and previously taught courses at Dartmouth College ( New Hampshire ). He received a bachelor 's degree at Princeton in 1987 , a master's degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in the same place in 1992 .
