Definition of the registration of passenger rolling stock

The registration of passenger trains can be determined by the following criteria:

  • All car extinguishers have the serial number of the depot to which the train is assigned (with rare exceptions when the train was recently transferred when the extinguisher has not yet been inventoried in a new depot).
  • On the Sokolnicheskaya line, the length of the train depends on the postscript — seven wagons in PM-1 and eight in PM-13.
  • On the Sokolniki and Kaluga-Riga lines, the attribution of this or that composition can be determined by the font of the letters used on the route stencils of the train.
  • On the Zamoskvoretskaya line, the assignment of trains can be determined by the color of the route stencil in the head of the train: for PM-2 - yellow, for PM-7 - white.
  • In the compositions of the types “Yauza”, “Rusich” and “Oka” on the electronic information boards the announcement of the invitation to work in the profession “electric train driver” is played, while the name of the depot to which the train is assigned is mentioned in the announcement.
