Leonid Nikolayevich Luschik ( May 10, 1954 ) - Soviet and Belarusian karate player and karate trainer ( Shito-ryu style , VII dan ). Master of Sports of the USSR (1982), Honored Trainer of the Republic of Belarus (1993). One of the veterans of Belarusian karate, having started training in the late 1970s. Since the late 1970s he has also been working as a karate trainer. During the ban on karate in the USSR (1983-1988) he taught under the guise of hand-to-hand combat at the FSO Dynamo .

Silver medalist of the first USSR karate championship (1981) [1] . The winner of the international tournament in Cuba (1983), where he managed to win the only gold medal for the delegation of the USSR. The first in Belarus was awarded the black belt , 1st dan , back in 1983.
For about ten years, the BFTK kumite team led by Leonid Lushchik performed according to the rules of traditional karate (ITKF).
Currently (2008) - Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Federation of Traditional Karate, a teacher at BSU .
The Youth Public Association “Adamant Sports Club karate” under the leadership of Leonid Nikolayevich Lushchik was registered in Minsk on June 7, 2010. The club continues its work and today (2016) karate classes under the guidance of this legendary man are held in 4 Minsk schools, as well as in nearby cities - Zaslavl and Shchemyslitsa.
