Paul Le Jeune ( French: Paul Le Jeune ; July 1591 , Vitry-le-Francois - August 7, 1664 , Paris ) - French Jesuit and missionary of the XVII century , who was the first to describe Canada in Relics of the Jesuits .

Le Jeun was born into the Huguenot family in Vitry-le-Francois in 1591, and converted to Catholicism at the age of sixteen. During his studies, Le Jeun showed great interest in missions and was convinced that education is a key element of any successful attempt to spread Christianity.
In 1624, Le Jeun was ordained , and in 1632 he was appointed head of the Jesuit mission in Canada.
