Story
12 years Paul Atreides is Emperor. However, his power begins to fluctuate - Bene Gesserit, Tleilaxu, the Guild of Space Navigation and even his own wife - Princess Irulan enter into a plot against him. Their first blow is sending the Emperor a specially resurrected Duncan Idaho . With the ability to see the future, Paul seems to be able to easily expose the conspirators, however, it seems that the Emperor himself seeks to undermine his power ...
The book develops an important philosophical question raised in the first part of the cycle about foreknowledge (the state in which a person sees the future).
