Karelavtotrans ( GUP RK Karelavtotrans ) is a state-owned unitary enterprise, the largest motor transportation enterprise of the Republic of Karelia ; a group of companies, which includes the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Karelavtotrans" and the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Karelavtotrans-Service".

History
The transport bureau in the Olonets province, the successor of which is the enterprise Karelavtotrans, was founded on May 14, 1918 .
Since 2001, the company provides passenger bus transportation. As of 2008 , Karelavtotrans was the largest carrier in Petrozavodsk on suburban and intercity routes.
In 2013, 5 new suburban buses MAZ-103.585 and 4 new intercity buses Higer KLQ6129Q were acquired.
In 2017, 13 MAZ-107.066 buses, previously operated in Moscow, were donated from the Moscow-based Mosgortrans as humanitarian aid. Of the 13 buses transferred to the line released 6 pieces of equipment.
In 2018, in the summer, up to 200 suburban and intercity flights per day were carried out from the bus station in Petrozavodsk, of which approximately 25% were carried by buses of the Karelavtotrans group of companies.
