Movie

The film Spider-Man, released in 1977, was a pilot release for the television series [2] [1] [3] .

Restart

In the early 1990s, James Cameron was actively interested in this project. In 1993, he wrote the script. Michael Bean was supposed to play Peter Parker. Cameron planned to invite Arnold Schwarzenegger to the role of Dr. Octavius. This project was not destined to come true, because rights to the film were constantly moving from one studio to another. Also, Cameron was not happy with the quality of the special effects that he was going to use in the picture. The James Cameron film was supposed to take place in 1995 [4] [5] . In Sam Raimi's film, there was nothing left of the ideas suggested by Jim, except for organic cartridges for the web [6] .

But thanks to a tangled web of litigation, studio bankrupticies, and wrangling over screenplay credits, that movie never saw light ... What remains, however, is Cameron's tantalising 47-page Spidey 'scriptment', a compacted screenplay-cum-narrative that mapped out his entire film in brief ... Koepp's first draft is taken often word-for- word from Cameron's story, though later versions were heavily rewritten by numerous screenwriters. Despite this — and much to Cameron's chagrin— Koepp's name is the only one on the screenplay. ""
