A brigade contract is a way of organizing labor, a type of collective contract , in which the rights to perform the agreed work front and responsibility are delegated to the team as a whole (as a single team, the totality of all its members, including the team leader).
This method existed together with team accounting - the type / principle of the distribution of income for work performed, taking into account the so-called KTU (coefficient of labor participation - a measure of employee contribution).
In Soviet times, the initiator of the brigade contract in housing construction was the Hero of Socialist Labor Nikolai Zlobin (in 1971), and in industrial construction the Hero of Socialist Labor. Vladislav Serikov (in 1971).
