Arne Hals ( Norwegian Arne Halse ; October 20, 1887 , Kristiansund - July 3, 1975 , Trondheim ) - Norwegian athlete , silver and bronze medalist of the 1908 Summer Olympics .

At the 1906 Extraordinary Olympics in Athens, Halsa became the seventh in javelin throwing . At the 1908 Games in London, he won the silver medal in javelin throwing, the bronze in javelin throwing and became the fifth in shot put . At the next 1912 Olympics in Stockholm, Hals took fifth place in javelin throw with two hands and seventh in javelin throw with one hand.
Halse is also the champion of Norway in javelin throwing ( 1905 - 1907 and 1909 ) and in shot put ( 1906 , 1907 and 1909 ).
