History
The street began to appear in the first quarter of the XIX century . It started from Teplyakovβs house on Nikolskaya Street . In this house there was a Lutheran spiritual consistory [2] , which gave the street the name Consistory . But this name did not take root, and by the middle of the 19th century the street began to be called Mala Dvoryanskaya , in contrast to the Bolshaya Noble street parallel to it. Ten years later, the police bailiff Konstantinov, well-known to residents, settled on this street. The street was called by his last name Konstantinovskaya .
In 1918, the street was renamed Sovetskaya, as it was the sponge of the Bolshevik party [3] .
Along Sovetskaya Street there is a line of trolleybus routes No. 2, 2a; tram routes No. 3, 9, 10, as well as several taxi lines (No. 32, 44, 47, 57, 93).
